What We Wear

One of the things making Scouting different from many youth organisations is that we have a uniform.

The uniforms have combine common and specific elements to create a sense of identity both within the wider Scouting Movement and our Group, images of the uniforms and badge positions can be found by downloading the My Badges app on your smartphone.

Each Scout Group has their own unique scarf, ours is Royal Blue with a White border and a Severndroog Castle logo on the back and is held together by a woggle. All sections wear scout activity trousers or scout activity shorts.

During your child’s trial period they are not expected to wear the uniform, however they will require one for their investment ceremony, the date of which will be provided in plenty of time.

Please note that all invested members are expected to wear their full uniform to weekly meetings, unless informed that it is a ‘non-uniform’ event.
